Return and Repair Policy
All items purchased at SGS, Sara G. Strauss Jewelry can be returned for a refund within 30 days of purchase, required that the item(s) is(are) returned in received condition; unaltered and undamaged. However, if an item is received damaged, it must be returned within 7 days and mark the package in the care of "Attention: Item damaged in delivery ". Repairs for such items will be free of charge. Please be prepared to present your enclosed receipt/invoice and all the documentation that the piece came with upon return. Customers will be credited in accordance with their original method of payment, excluding shipping charges.
Items being returned for repair can be done so at any time within the first 12 months of purchase. Most repairs within 30 days are free of charge. Exceptions: 1) Pieces which needs to be re-hand knotted on silk thread. 2) If a main component is missing which cannot be replaced. However, an alteration can be done for a fee.
Repairs for items returned beyond 30 days will have a minimal fee of $5; a final price will be determined upon assessing the repairs needed.

Mark returns and repairs by addressing them in the care of "Attention: Return for refund"or "Attention: Return for repair " or "Attention: Item damaged in delivery". Please fill out the given "Reason for return/repair form" with as much detail as possible.
